Wireless keypad does not light up or respond when keys are pressed.

Safety first: Use the wall button or remote to operate the door while troubleshooting the keypad; do not force the door manually unless necessary.

• Replace batteries: Open the keypad cover and replace the batteries with fresh ones of the correct type, observing polarity.
• Clean contacts: If there is corrosion, gently clean the battery contacts with a small brush and isopropyl alcohol.
• Check for moisture damage: If the keypad has water inside or the circuit board is corroded, replacement is recommended.
• Reprogram keypad: Follow the Wayne Dalton instructions to reprogram the keypad PIN to the opener using the Learn button.
