Disposal does not respond to wireless or air-switch button, but works when wall switch is used (on dual-control setups).

Safety first: Turn OFF power to the disposal before working on any control modules.

• Inspect air tubing: For air-switch systems, check the small plastic tube from the countertop button to the under-sink module for kinks, cracks, or disconnections.
• Test button: Press the button and listen for a click at the module. If no click, the button or tubing may be faulty.
• Check module connections: Ensure the module is plugged in and its output is securely connected to the American Standard disposal circuit.
• Replace faulty parts: Replace the air switch button, tubing, or module as needed. If using a wireless kit, replace batteries or the module per manufacturer instructions.
