• Step 1 – Inspect splash guard: Check if the rubber splash guard (sink baffle) is present and seated properly in the sink flange.
• Step 2 – Replace worn baffle: If the guard is torn, hardened, or permanently deformed, replace it with an Electrolux-compatible splash guard designed for your model.
• Step 3 – Adjust water flow: Aim the faucet stream directly down the center of the opening rather than at an angle to reduce splash.
• Step 4 – Test operation: Run the disposal with the new baffle installed and adjust water flow as needed.
