Garbage disposal runs but food remains in chamber and does not clear

Safety first: Turn OFF the disposal before inspecting.

• Increase water flow: Run cold water at full volume while operating the Everbilt disposal for 30–60 seconds.
• Check baffle: Ensure the splash guard is not deformed and blocking the outlet. Replace if necessary.
• Clean discharge elbow and trap: Remove and clean the elbow and P-trap to clear any buildup.
• Avoid fibrous foods: Do not put large amounts of celery, corn husks, or similar items that can wrap around impellers.
