Possible Causes
Jammed Evergrind turntable, Failed Evergrind start winding, Defective Evergrind internal overload, Low supply voltage to Evergrind motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF power at the breaker.
- Clear jams: Use the Evergrind hex wrench on the bottom shaft to rotate the plate. Remove any obstructions from the chamber with tongs.
- Reset overload: Press the red reset button on the bottom of the Evergrind unit.
- Test with no load: Restore power, run water, and briefly turn on the unit. If it only clicks and does not spin, turn it off immediately.
- If clicking persists: The internal start winding or overload device is likely faulty. Replace the Evergrind disposer.
