Possible Causes
Weak Evergrind overload protector, Overheating Evergrind motor, High mechanical resistance in Evergrind bearings, Undersized circuit causing voltage drop
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF power before inspection.
- Check for mechanical drag: Use the Evergrind wrench to rotate the turntable. It should move freely. Any stiffness indicates bearing or seal issues.
- Reduce run time: Avoid running the Evergrind unit for more than a few minutes continuously. Allow cool-down between heavy uses.
- Verify circuit: Ensure the Evergrind disposal is on a dedicated circuit of appropriate amperage as specified in the manual.
- If overload still trips every cycle: The internal overload or motor is failing. Replace the Evergrind disposer.
