Disposal causes lights to dim significantly when starting

Safety first: Turn OFF the breaker before inspecting wiring.

• Check circuit sharing: Identify what else is on the Evergrind circuit. Ideally, the disposal should be on a dedicated circuit.
• Inspect connections: Tighten all wire connections in the Evergrind junction box and at the breaker panel (by a qualified person) to reduce voltage drop.
• Limit simultaneous loads: Avoid running high-draw appliances on the same circuit while using the Evergrind unit.
• Upgrade circuit if needed: If dimming is severe, consult an electrician to provide a dedicated, properly sized circuit for the Evergrind disposal.
