Possible Causes
Loose Evergrind dishwasher inlet baffle, Debris entering Evergrind chamber from dishwasher, High-pressure dishwasher pump causing vibration at Evergrind inlet, Improperly secured dishwasher hose on Evergrind nipple
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF power to the Evergrind unit.
- Inspect inlet connection: Check that the dishwasher hose is firmly clamped to the Evergrind inlet nipple and not vibrating excessively.
- Check for debris: After a dishwasher drain, inspect the Evergrind chamber for foreign objects or broken glass that may have been flushed in. Remove with tongs.
- Secure hose routing: Use clamps or straps to secure the dishwasher hose so it does not bang against the Evergrind housing during drain cycles.
- Test: Run the dishwasher drain again and listen for improvement.
