Disposal makes a rattling noise only when the dishwasher is draining

Safety first: Turn OFF power to the Evergrind unit.

• Inspect inlet connection: Check that the dishwasher hose is firmly clamped to the Evergrind inlet nipple and not vibrating excessively.
• Check for debris: After a dishwasher drain, inspect the Evergrind chamber for foreign objects or broken glass that may have been flushed in. Remove with tongs.
• Secure hose routing: Use clamps or straps to secure the dishwasher hose so it does not bang against the Evergrind housing during drain cycles.
• Test: Run the dishwasher drain again and listen for improvement.
