Possible Causes
Shorted Evergrind motor windings, Severely seized Evergrind rotor, Failed Evergrind overload device, Internal obstruction not visible in chamber
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF power at the breaker.
- Check for free rotation: Use the Evergrind hex wrench to attempt to rotate the turntable. If it will not move, there may be an internal obstruction or seized rotor.
- Inspect chamber: Remove any visible debris with tongs. Do not force rotation if it is completely locked.
- Attempt one reset: Press the reset button and test briefly. If it trips instantly again, discontinue use.
- Replace disposer: Internal electrical or mechanical failure requires replacement of the Evergrind unit.
