Safety first: Turn OFF the unit if it stalls and press reset only after clearing jams.

• Change usage habits: Avoid putting fibrous materials (celery, corn husks, onion skins) and large quantities of peels into the Evergrind unit. Dispose of them in the trash or compost.
• Feed slowly: Run cold water and feed small amounts of food gradually, allowing the Evergrind unit to clear before adding more.
• Maintain grinding surfaces: Periodically grind ice cubes to help keep the Evergrind shredder ring clean.
• Consider upgrade: If stalling is frequent, consider replacing with a higher horsepower Evergrind model.
