Garbage disposal mounting assembly is loose; the unit can be moved by hand and may leak or vibrate.

Safety first: Turn OFF power and support the disposer from below while working on the mount.

• Tighten mounting ring: Rotate the Franke mounting ring clockwise until it locks firmly into place. Use a screwdriver in the lugs for leverage if needed.
• Check mounting screws: Tighten the three mounting screws evenly to pull the sink flange tight against the sink.
• Inspect gasket: If the unit remains loose or leaks, remove the disposer and inspect the mounting gasket. Replace with a new Franke mounting gasket if compressed or damaged.
• Reinstall correctly: Reassemble the mounting system according to the Franke installation instructions, ensuring all components are in the correct order.
