How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF power and do not run the disposer while the discharge is disconnected.
- Tighten screws: Tighten the two or more screws securing the Franke discharge elbow to the disposer outlet.
- Replace gasket: If leaking persists, remove the elbow and install a new Franke discharge outlet gasket between the elbow and disposer.
- Align piping: Ensure the connected drain pipe is properly aligned and not putting sideways stress on the elbow.
- Replace elbow: If the elbow is cracked, replace it with a new Franke discharge elbow.
