Garbage disposal splash guard is torn, loose, or missing, causing water to splash out of the sink during operation.

Safety first: Turn OFF the disposal before touching the splash guard.

• Remove old guard: Pull the worn splash guard out of the sink opening. Some Franke models have a removable guard that lifts out; others require dismounting the disposer.
• Clean flange: Wipe the sink opening and flange area clean of debris and grease.
• Install new guard: Insert a new Franke splash guard / baffle designed for your model, ensuring it seats evenly.
• Test operation: Run water and the disposer to confirm reduced splashing and proper feeding of waste.
