Garbage disposal vibrates excessively and causes the sink and countertop to shake during operation.

Safety first: Turn OFF power before touching the unit.

• Clear chamber: Remove any foreign objects and flush the disposer with water while running to clear residual debris.
• Check mounting ring: From under the sink, ensure the Franke mounting ring is fully rotated and locked into place. Tighten mounting screws evenly.
• Inspect sink flange alignment: Verify that the sink flange is seated flat against the sink. If it appears tilted, the flange may need to be reseated with new putty or gasket.
• Evaluate wear: If vibration persists, the grinding plate may be unevenly worn. Replacement of the Franke grinding plate assembly or entire unit may be required.
