Disposal does not respond to wall switch or integrated Miele control; F03 communication error shown on Miele app or kitchen control panel.

Safety first: Switch off power at the breaker before removing any covers or touching wiring.

• Verify power supply: Check that the breaker for the disposal circuit is ON and not tripped. Reset if necessary.
• Test wall switch: Remove the switch cover (with power off) and inspect for loose wires or burned contacts. Replace the switch if it feels loose or shows signs of arcing.
• Check terminal block: At the base of the Miele disposal, remove the wiring cover and confirm that line, neutral, and ground wires are firmly secured in the terminal block.
• Inspect communication cable: If your disposal is integrated with a Miele smart system, ensure the low-voltage communication harness is fully seated and not pinched or damaged.
• Module reset: Restore power and perform a control module reset according to the Miele installation/operation manual (usually by cycling power and holding the control button for several seconds).
• Persistent F03: If the error remains, the internal control PCB may be defective and should be replaced by a Miele service technician.
