Safety first: Ensure the wall switch is OFF before working under the sink.

  • Check reset button:
    • Press the red reset button on the bottom of the Moen disposal until it clicks.
  • Verify outlet and breaker:

    • Reset any tripped GFCI outlets.
    • Reset the circuit breaker by switching it fully OFF then ON.
  • Test operation:
    • Run water and flip the wall switch.
