Possible Causes
Loose discharge elbow under pressure, Hairline crack in disposal housing, Loose internal baffle, Misaligned trap causing flex during operation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and place a pan under the unit.
- Observe leak source: Run water and briefly turn on the Project Source disposal while watching for leaks at the discharge elbow and housing seams.
- Tighten discharge connection: Snug the clamp or screws on the discharge elbow and realign piping if needed.
If water appears from a crack in the housing or from the bottom only when running, the internal chamber is compromised. Replace the disposal.
