Dishwasher Inlet Port Leak
Water leaks from the dishwasher hose connection on the side of the Project Source disposal

Possible Causes
Loose dishwasher hose clamp, Cracked dishwasher inlet nipple, Missing or damaged dishwasher inlet gasket, Dishwasher knockout plug not fully removed
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and do not run the dishwasher until the leak is fixed.
- Inspect hose connection: Locate the small hose from the dishwasher attached to the side of the disposal. Check that the clamp is tight and the hose is fully seated.
- Tighten or replace clamp: Use a screwdriver or nut driver to snug the clamp. Replace with a new worm-gear clamp if the original is weak or rusted.
- Check for cracks: If water seeps from the plastic nipple itself, the disposal housing is cracked and the unit must be replaced.
- Verify knockout removal (new installs): If the dishwasher is not draining, remove the hose and confirm the internal knockout plug in the Project Source dishwasher inlet was fully punched out during installation. Use a screwdriver and hammer to knock it out, then remove the plastic piece from inside the grinding chamber.
