Garbage disposal will not start from the wall switch, but starts and runs when the built-in manual test button (if equipped) is pressed, internal LED flashes ten times when switch is used.

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before working on switches or wiring.

• Test the wall switch: Remove the switch cover plate and use a multimeter to check continuity across the switch terminals when toggled. Replace the switch if it does not close properly.
• Inspect air switch system: For air-activated Reginox models, check that the air tubing is firmly connected at both the countertop button and the control box. Look for kinks or cuts in the tubing.
• Check control connections: Under the sink, locate the Reginox control module (if present) and ensure the low-voltage switch connector is fully seated.
• Bypass test (qualified persons only): With power OFF, temporarily connect the two switch wires together at the control module, then restore power briefly to see if the unit runs. If it does, the switch or air button is faulty.
• Replace faulty component: Install a new wall switch, air switch button, or air switch kit as needed, following Reginox wiring diagrams.
