Garbage disposal starts but immediately shuts off within 1–2 seconds, internal LED shows a single long flash followed by one short flash (11).

Safety first: Turn off the breaker and disconnect power before opening any covers.

• Listen for behavior: Note whether the unit attempts to spin up or just clicks off. A brief spin followed by stop often indicates a start circuit issue.
• Check for mechanical binding: Use the bottom hex socket to rotate the shaft manually. If it is stiff or rough, the bearings may be failing, requiring unit replacement.
• Inspect electronic module: Some Reginox models have an external start capacitor or electronic module mounted on the side. Check for bulging, burn marks, or loose connectors.
• Reconnect harness: Reseat any plug-in connectors between the motor and the control/start module.
• Component replacement: If the motor spins freely by hand but still stops immediately, replace the Reginox start capacitor module or control module according to the service manual.
