Garbage disposal runs intermittently; sometimes it starts, other times nothing happens when the switch is flipped, internal LED flashes thirteen times when a start attempt fails.

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before accessing wiring.

• Check junction box connections: Remove the Reginox junction box cover and verify all wire nuts are tight and wires are fully twisted together.
• Inspect motor terminals: If accessible, check that spade connectors on the motor are firmly seated and not corroded.
• Test the wall switch: Replace the switch if it feels loose, crackles, or fails continuity testing.
• Observe LED behavior: If the LED consistently shows E13 when failure occurs, the internal relay or control board may be failing.
• Replace control module or unit: On models with a separate control module, replace the module. On integrated designs, replacement of the entire disposal is recommended.
