How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the switch and breaker.
- Inspect chamber: Shine a flashlight into the disposal and look for foreign objects. Remove them with pliers or tongs.
- Check impeller movement: With power off, gently move the impeller lugs with a wooden tool. They should pivot but not feel loose or detached.
- Verify mounting: From below, tighten the Reginox mounting ring screws and ensure the unit is firmly locked into the sink flange.
- Test again: Restore power, run water, and operate briefly. If loud mechanical noise persists, internal components may be damaged and the unit should be replaced.
