Possible Causes
Misaligned batch-feed cover, Faulty magnetic lid sensor, Damaged sensor wiring harness, Failed sensor circuit on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Disconnect power before inspecting sensor components.
- Step 1 – Check cover position: On batch-feed Tweeny models, ensure the cover is fully inserted and rotated to the ON position as per the user manual.
- Step 2 – Clean sensor area: Wipe any food residue or corrosion from the lid sensor area and cover magnet surfaces.
- Step 3 – Inspect harness: Remove the top shroud (if accessible) and check the sensor wiring harness for pinched or broken wires.
- Step 4 – Test with spare cover: If available, test with a known-good cover to rule out a weak magnet.
If E14 persists, the sensor or PCB input is likely defective. Replacement of the sensor assembly or control PCB may be required.
