Excessive vibration or rattling from spa cabinet when pumps are running

Safety first: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker before working around moving parts.

Vibration is often due to mechanical mounting issues.

• Inspect pump mounts: Check that the pump is securely bolted to its base and that rubber isolation pads are present and intact.
• Tighten hardware: Tighten loose mounting bolts and cabinet screws, but avoid overtightening plastic components.
• Support plumbing: Add pipe supports or straps where long runs of PVC are vibrating.
• Check for contact points: Ensure pumps and plumbing are not touching cabinet panels or other components.

Persistent vibration may indicate an imbalanced impeller or motor issue requiring pump replacement.
