Circulation pump is noisy, runs hot, or does not move water; heater often shuts off with flow-related errors.

Safety: Disconnect power before servicing the pump.

• Step 1 – Bleed air: Loosen the unions on the circulation pump until water flows steadily, then retighten.
• Step 2 – Check for vibration and noise: With power restored, listen to the pump. Grinding or squealing indicates bearing failure.
• Step 3 – Inspect for leaks: Look for water around the pump housing and shaft seal.
• Step 4 – Replace pump: If the pump is noisy, hot, or not moving water despite bleeding air, replace it with an AquaRest-compatible circulation pump, transferring unions and fittings as needed.
