How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before unplugging or plugging any control cables.
- Step 1 – Inspect topside cable: Access the equipment bay and locate the ribbon or data cable from the topside panel to the control pack. Ensure both ends are fully seated and the cable is not pinched or cut.
- Step 2 – Dry moisture: Check the underside of the topside panel for condensation or water. Gently dry the area and allow time for moisture to evaporate.
- Step 3 – Power reset: Restore power and see if Er1 clears. If not, try temporarily disconnecting the topside and reconnecting after 30 seconds.
If Er1 persists, the topside panel or control board may need replacement with AquaRest-compatible components.
