Display shows LOC or LOCK and buttons on the AquaRest topside control are unresponsive.

Safety: No electrical work is required for basic unlocking.

• Step 1 – Try unlock sequence: On many AquaRest topside panels, press and hold the Temperature Up and Temperature Down buttons together for 3–5 seconds to toggle the lock. Check your specific model manual if this does not work.
• Step 2 – Power reset: Turn off the GFCI breaker for 30 seconds, then restore power. If LOC returns immediately, the lock may be stored in memory or a button may be stuck.
• Step 3 – Inspect keypad: Check the topside control for moisture under the overlay, physical damage, or buttons that feel stuck. Gently press each button several times to free it.

If the panel remains locked or unresponsive, the topside control may need replacement.
