Possible Causes
User-selected sleep mode, Misconfigured filtration cycles, Low ambient temperature causing extra heat loss, Control pack defaulting to SL after reset
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No internal work required.
- Step 1 – Change mode: Use the topside control to switch from SL (Sleep) to ST (Standard) or EC (Economy) depending on your usage. Sleep mode typically heats only during programmed filter cycles and to a lower effective setpoint.
- Step 2 – Adjust set temperature: Increase the set temperature to your desired level after changing modes.
- Step 3 – Check cover and insulation: Ensure the AquaRest cover seals well and that there are no large gaps in cabinet insulation that could cause excessive heat loss.
