Possible Causes
Failed AquaRest ozone generator, Clogged ozone check valve, Cracked ozone tubing, Ozone output disabled in control settings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before handling ozone equipment.
- Step 1 – Verify ozone indicator: Check the control panel or ozone indicator light (if equipped) during filtration cycles to see if ozone is commanded on.
- Step 2 – Inspect tubing and check valve: Locate the ozone generator in the equipment bay. Check the silicone tubing and check valve for kinks, cracks, or blockages. Replace if brittle or clogged.
- Step 3 – Check generator: Ensure the ozone generator is plugged into the correct ozone outlet on the control pack. If there is no visible glow or sound when active, the unit may have failed.
Replace the ozone generator with an AquaRest-compatible unit if it is not producing ozone.
