Possible Causes
Loose heater union on AquaRest heater tube, Cracked pump housing or union, Leaking slice valve, Split vinyl hose or jet body
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power and avoid standing water near electrical components.
- Step 1 – Identify leak source: Remove the equipment access panel and use a flashlight to trace drips while the spa is filled. Check heater unions, pump unions, and slice valves first.
- Step 2 – Tighten unions: Hand-tighten any loose heater or pump unions. Do not overtighten to the point of cracking.
- Step 3 – Repair or replace fittings: For cracked unions or pump housings, drain the spa below the leak level and replace the damaged part with AquaRest-compatible fittings.
- Step 4 – Check jets and hoses: If the leak is not in the equipment bay, remove side panels to inspect jet bodies and vinyl hoses for splits. Use PVC cement and clamps or replace hoses as needed.
