Possible Causes
Air in plumbing lines, Loose pump mounting bolts, Debris in pump impeller, Jets partially closed causing cavitation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before tightening hardware or opening plumbing.
- Step 1 – Bleed air: Loosen pump unions slightly to release trapped air, then retighten.
- Step 2 – Check pump mounts: Ensure the AquaRest pump is securely bolted to its base and that rubber isolation pads are intact.
- Step 3 – Open jets fully: Turn all adjustable jets to the fully open position and test. Partially closed jets can cause cavitation noise.
- Step 4 – Inspect impeller: If noise persists, remove the pump wet end (power off, spa drained below pump) and inspect the impeller for debris or damage.
