Possible Causes
Blocked return jets, Low overall water circulation, Heater cycling with restricted flow, Insulation packed tightly against shell in one area
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Avoid prolonged skin contact with hot surfaces and turn off power before moving insulation.
- Step 1 – Check jet flow: Ensure all jets are open and flowing strongly. Clean or replace the filter to improve circulation.
- Step 2 – Inspect insulation: Remove side panels and verify that insulation is not tightly packed against the shell near heater return lines. Gently reposition if necessary.
- Step 3 – Verify heater flow: Confirm that the circulation pump is running properly and that there are no flow errors.
If localized overheating persists, have a technician inspect plumbing and heater placement.
