Possible Causes
Overheating pump motor, Loose electrical connection on control pack, Failing heater relay, Melted wire insulation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Immediately turn off power at the breaker. Do not continue to run the spa until the source is identified.
- Step 1 – Inspect equipment bay: Remove the access panel and look for discolored, melted, or charred components, especially around the control pack, heater, and pumps.
- Step 2 – Check motor temperature: Carefully feel (when cool) the pump motors. Excessive heat or discoloration indicates failure.
- Step 3 – Tighten connections: With power off, tighten any loose terminal screws on the control pack and heater.
Replace any burned components (wiring, relays, motors) with AquaRest-compatible parts. If you are not experienced with electrical repairs, contact a professional.
