How to Fix / Troubleshooting

- Inspect topside cable: Open the equipment bay and locate the ribbon cable from the topside control panel to the control board. Ensure it is fully seated and not corroded.
- Check for moisture: Examine the topside panel on the spa shell for signs of water under the display or buttons. Moisture can cause communication errors.
- Dry panel if wet: If moisture is present, gently dry the area and allow the panel to air out with the cover open. Do not use heat guns.
- Reset power: Restore power and see if Er1 clears. If it returns, the topside panel or control board may need replacement.
