How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker and wait at least 5 minutes.
- Hard reset: After waiting, restore power and observe if Er3 returns immediately or after some operation.
- Inspect control box: Open the equipment bay and check the control pack for signs of moisture, burnt components, or insect/rodent damage.
- Dry environment: If moisture is present, allow the area to dry completely before re-energizing. Address any leaks from plumbing above the control pack.
Er3 typically indicates a failing control board. Replacement of the Aquaterra Spas control pack or board is usually required and should be done by a professional.
