Topside control panel lock feature enabled, Partial lock mode active, User programming
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: No electrical work is required for this issue.
- Unlock the panel: On many Aquaterra Spas, press and hold specific buttons (often "Temp Up" and "Temp Down" together, or a dedicated lock icon) for 3–5 seconds to toggle the lock. Refer to the Aquaterra Spas user manual for the exact combination.
- Cycle power if needed: If the lock will not clear, turn off power at the GFCI breaker for 30 seconds, then restore power and try the unlock sequence again.
- Check for partial lock: Some models allow temperature lock but leave jets operational. Verify which functions are disabled to confirm the lock mode.
If the display shows LOC but the panel remains unresponsive after unlock attempts and power cycling, the topside control panel or control board may be faulty.
