Possible Causes
Normal startup after power reset, Air in plumbing after refill, User not exiting priming mode
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure all jets are open and the spa is filled before powering on.
- Allow priming to complete: After restoring power, Aquaterra Spas often enter a priming mode (Prr/PR) to allow air to purge from pumps. Follow the on-screen instructions or press the designated button to exit priming after confirming water flow.
- Bleed air if needed: If pumps are noisy or not moving water, turn power OFF, open the equipment bay, and loosen pump unions slightly to release trapped air. Retighten and restore power.
- Check for stuck in priming: If the spa remains in Prr and will not enter normal mode, cycle power and attempt priming again. Persistent issues may indicate a control board fault.
Prr is typically not an error but a mode. If you cannot exit this mode, contact Aquaterra Spas support or a technician.
