Possible Causes
Loose pump union, Cracked heater union, Failed pump shaft seal, Cracked PVC plumbing or manifold
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and do not operate the spa while it is leaking.
- Locate leak source: Remove the front panel to access the equipment bay. Use a flashlight to trace water drips back to their origin (pump unions, heater unions, valves, or PVC joints).
- Tighten unions: Hand-tighten any loose pump or heater unions. Do not overtighten, as this can crack fittings.
- Dry and observe: Dry the area and refill the spa to normal level, then watch for new leaks.
Cracked unions, manifolds, or a failed pump seal require part replacement and PVC work, best handled by a spa technician.
