Possible Causes
Stuck flow switch, Faulty pressure switch, Incorrectly adjusted pressure switch, Wiring fault between switch and control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before working on the flow or pressure switch.
- Verify circulation: Ensure the circulation pump is running and water is moving strongly through the heater line. Clean the filter and remove any blockages.
- Inspect flow/pressure switch: Locate the Aquavia flow or pressure switch on the heater plumbing. Check for visible damage or leaks. Ensure the wiring connectors are tight and free of corrosion.
- Test switch (advanced): With power off, disconnect the switch and test continuity with a multimeter while water is flowing (or by gently actuating the switch if accessible). Replace the switch if it does not change state correctly.
- Replace switch: If the switch is stuck or faulty, install a compatible Aquavia Spa flow or pressure switch, ensuring correct orientation and sealing with PTFE tape where required.
