Possible Causes
Dirty filter cartridge, Air lock in circulation circuit, Failing circulation pump, Partially closed suction or return valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch off power at the breaker before opening any unions or filter housings.
- Clean or replace filter: Remove the Aquavia filter cartridge and rinse thoroughly. If the cartridge is old or damaged, replace it.
- Bleed air: Loosen a union at the circulation pump or heater until water flows steadily, then retighten. This removes trapped air that can cause FLO errors.
- Check valves: Ensure all slice or ball valves in the circulation line are fully open.
- Assess pump performance: With power restored, observe the circulation outlet. Weak or no flow suggests a failing circulation pump that should be replaced.
