Possible Causes
Incorrect line voltage (e.g., 208V vs 240V), Loose line connections at spa terminal block, Tripped or weak GFCI breaker, Internal fuse blown on Arctic Spas control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Only qualified persons should work inside the electrical service panel or spa control pack. Always turn off power at the main breaker before opening any covers.
- Verify supply voltage: Have a qualified electrician measure line voltage at the spa disconnect and at the spa's terminal block to ensure it matches Arctic Spas specifications.
- Check GFCI: Reset the GFCI breaker fully OFF then ON. If it will not reset, investigate for ground faults or moisture in equipment.
- Inspect terminal block: With power off, tighten all line and neutral connections at the spa's terminal block. Look for signs of overheating.
- Check internal fuses: Some Arctic Spas control packs have internal fuses. Inspect and replace any blown fuses with identical type and rating.
- Persistent PF: If PF remains after confirming proper power and fuses, the control board may be damaged and require replacement.
