How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: A severely out-of-level spa can stress plumbing and shell. Do not operate if the shell is twisting.
- Assess level: Use a spirit level across the shell edges to determine how far out of level the spa is.
- Inspect base: Check for visible cracks in the pad or erosion around the base.
- Short-term shimming: For minor deviations, use composite shims under the spa base at low points, following Arctic Spas guidelines.
- Long-term fix: For significant settling, drain and move the spa, rebuild a proper level base (concrete pad or compacted gravel), and reinstall the spa.
