Possible Causes
Unplugged or failed temperature sensor, Broken sensor wiring, Control board sensor circuit fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker before accessing the control pack.
- Inspect sensor connection: Open the equipment bay and locate the temperature sensor plug on the control board. Ensure it is fully seated.
- Check cable: Follow the sensor cable to the heater manifold, looking for cuts or pinch points.
- Replace sensor: If the cable is damaged or the sensor tests open/shorted (with a multimeter), replace it with an Artesian-compatible thermistor.
If a new sensor does not restore temperature display, the control board may need replacement.
