Possible Causes
Failed ozone generator, Disconnected ozone cable, Blown ozone fuse on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker before working on ozone equipment.
- Check ozone indicator: Some Artesian models have an ozone status light on the control pack or topside. Note whether it illuminates during filtration cycles.
- Inspect ozone generator: Locate the ozone unit in the equipment bay. Ensure its power plug is firmly connected to the control pack.
- Check tubing: Verify that ozone tubing is connected and not kinked or full of water.
- Replace ozone generator: If the unit is more than a few years old or shows signs of overheating, replace it with an Artesian-compatible corona discharge or UV ozone unit.
Ozone failure does not usually stop spa operation but reduces sanitation; correct promptly for best water quality.
