How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Shut off power at the GFCI breaker before inspection.
- Inspect Pump 2 wiring: Verify tight connections at both the pump and control pack. Look for discoloration or melted insulation.
- Check pump rotation: With power OFF, attempt to spin the motor shaft by hand. If stiff or locked, the pump likely needs replacement.
- Check breaker: Confirm the breaker size matches Artesian’s specifications for your model and that wiring is correctly sized.
If wiring and breaker are correct and the pump is seized or shorted, replace Pump 2 with an Artesian-compatible jet pump.
