How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker before handling sensors.
- Verify with thermometer: Compare displayed temperature to an accurate thermometer in the spa water.
- Inspect sensor mounting: Ensure the temperature sensor is fully seated in its well or threaded port on the heater manifold.
- Replace sensor: If readings are consistently off by more than 2–3°F, replace the thermistor with an Artesian-compatible part.
If overshoot persists with a new sensor, the control board may require replacement.
