Possible Causes
Flow restriction on second pump circuit, Faulty second pressure/flow switch, Air lock in secondary plumbing, Closed diverter or slice valve on secondary loop
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before opening unions or touching wiring.
- Prime second pump: Run Pump 2 on low and high speed to purge air. If it will not prime, bleed the pump union.
- Check valves and diverters: Ensure diverter valves feeding Pump 2’s jets are open and that slice valves on its suction and return lines are fully open.
- Inspect secondary flow switch: Locate the second flow/pressure switch in the plumbing. Check wiring and replace if defective.
If FLO2 persists with good flow, the secondary flow switch or control board input may be faulty.
