Possible Causes
Corrupted control firmware, Loose ribbon cable between topside panel and control board, Moisture intrusion into topside control, Faulty sensor data confusing the controller
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before unplugging any control cables.
- Power cycle the spa: Leave power off for at least 2–3 minutes, then restore power to reset the control system.
- Inspect topside control cable: Open the equipment bay and locate the ribbon cable from the topside panel to the control board. Ensure it is fully seated and not damaged.
- Check for moisture: Inspect the topside panel for condensation or water under the overlay. If wet, carefully dry the area and consider replacing the panel if buttons are unresponsive.
If SE persists, the control board or topside panel may need replacement.
