Possible Causes
Dirty or clogged filter, Air lock in pump, Partially closed slice valve, Worn or damaged pump impeller
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before loosening any unions or removing the filter.
- Clean or remove filter: Take out the filter cartridge and rinse thoroughly. Test jet strength with the filter removed; if improved, replace the filter.
- Check valves and diverters: Ensure all slice valves are open and diverter valves are positioned to share flow among seats.
- Bleed air from pump: Loosen the pump union slightly to release trapped air, then retighten and test.
If jets remain weak, the pump impeller may be worn or partially blocked and the pump should be inspected and possibly rebuilt or replaced.
