Possible Causes
Cracked heater manifold, Loose pump union, Split PVC plumbing line, Failed slice valve or O-ring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and, if leak is significant, lower water level below the leak to prevent further damage.
- Locate the leak: Use a flashlight to inspect around the heater, pumps, unions, and valves while the spa is filled. Look for drips or spray.
- Tighten unions: Hand-tighten any loose pump or heater unions. Do not overtighten with tools as this can crack fittings.
- Replace seals or fittings: If a union O-ring is damaged, replace it. Cracked manifolds or PVC elbows will need to be cut out and replaced with new fittings and PVC cement.
Extensive leaks inside the cabinet may require partial foam removal and are best addressed by a professional.
